Complete Constant Pressure Bore Pump System

Constant Pressure Bore Pumps

The Franklin Electric SubDrive QuickPAK consists of a Pump, Motor, Drive, Pressure tank and Sensor all in one ready-to-go package.

Constant pressure bore pumps are used mainly to supply water to the house and garden directly from the bore.

It uses a pressure sensor which detects water pressure, sending a signal to the controller which adjusts the pump speed.

Instead of the pump turning on and off when the pressure tank reaches a certain pressure, it keeps the pressure tank at one pressure level resulting in an endless steady water flow.

When the demand for water increases (you open a tap), the pump speed increases. When the demand for water decreases (you close a tap), the pump speed slows down. This eliminates the need for large pressure tanks which saves space.

SubDrive also eliminates pressure fluctuations during long running applications such as reticulation/irrigation systems.
