1hp submersible motor single 1 Phase 2-wire, has a 2-wire BIAC starting switch that provides reverse impact torque to aid starting in harsh conditions.

2-wire motors are plug and pump, no control / starter box is required.

2-wire (3 core) submersible electrical drop cable is used with this motor.

The motor protection device that can be used with 2-wire single phase motors is the Pumptec IR or the Pumptec Plus.
