Franklin Electric 3 Wire 3hp/2.2kw High Thrust Submersible Motor

316SS bore pump motor has special construction option for acid, low pH, and seawater applications.

The Franklin 3 Wire 3hp/2.2kw High Thrust submersible motor is a single 1 phase motor with a capacitor start-capacitor run CSCR motor which operate with the Franklin Electric starter / control box. This design features the highest starting torque within the single 1 phase motor range.

This motor requires a Franklin Electric Starter/Control Box which includes all necessary long-life starting and motor protection relays and capacitors.

The control box / starter box is available for these motors. Motor warranty is void if Franklin Electric 1 phase  control box / starters are not used.

• The 316SS bore pump motor has built in lightning arrestors and overload.
• 3-wire (4 core) submersible electrical drop cable is used with this motor.
