Our Solar Vortex Sump Pump with a Float is specifically designed for applications where a 240 volt power source is not available.

100% European made.

Being a Solar/DC pump, 12 volt battery and solar panels are required to power the pump. We do not sell solar panels or batteries. You would need to have the likes of “Battery World” size up the correct battery required for a particular application using the pump specifications.

Note

• The RSE12V has max solids handling capacity of 2mm. Any bigger solids than this will mean the pump will clog.
• The RSE12V is designed for short cycle pumping only! Do not use for long term operation. Max duty cycle is 20 minutes. If it pumps for longer than this, it will damage the pump.
• The RSE12V can run off either a battery or solar panel, as long as they have a constant 12V DC supply.
• These pumps are not suitable for permanent submersion.
• As this pump draws 15 amps, either a regulated power supply or Batteries/ Solar Panel can be used.
• Do not connect the pump to solar panel without battery/ies. Must have battery/ies included as there is not enough power coming from the solar panel alone.
